The examination was conducted over 22 days, from February 20, 2024, to March 7, 2024. While lakhs of candidates participated, only 26,146 candidates will be selected by the commission at the end of the process.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will soon announce the results of the SSC GD Constable 2024 exam. While the exact date and time for the SSC GD result 2024 have not been officially confirmed, the result link is likely to be activated by mid-June 2024. SSC GD 2024: Minimum Qualifying Cutoff

To qualify for the SSC GD Computer-Based Examination (CBE), candidates must secure the following minimum cutoff marks:

It is important to note that the final SSC GD merit list is based solely on candidates’ performance in the SSC GD CBE exam. The PET, PST, and medical examination are only qualifying in nature.

SSC GD Exam Pattern

The SSC GD Constable examination was conducted as a Computer-Based Examination.

  • Each question carried 2 marks.
  • There was a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer.
  • Candidates were allotted 1 hour to complete the paper.

SSC GD Marks 2024

The SSC GD marks 2024 for the Constable (GD) in CAPFs, SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, as well as Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau Examination, 2024, will be released after the declaration of results. SSC GD Result 2024 Declaration Criteria

The Staff Selection Commission declares the SSC GD result 2024 after each stage of the exam is completed.

1. SSC GD Exam Result: Candidates whose SSC GD applications 2024 are shortlisted are called to appear for the SSC GD computer-based exam. Those qualifying the SSC GD CBE exam proceed to the next stage.

2. SSC GD Physical Result: All qualifying candidates then undergo the physical efficiency test and/or physical standard test. The SSC GD physical result of PET/PST is declared by the CRPF. Candidates who clear PET/PST advance to the final stage.

3. SSC GD DME/DV & Final Result: The final stage includes a Detailed Medical Examination (DME) and Document Verification (DV). In DME, candidates are medically examined to ensure their fitness for service. Document verification is also conducted to confirm eligibility. The SSC GD final result is declared by the Commission after the DME/DV round.

The Review Medical Exam (RME) is conducted for candidates who produce medical certificates indicating a possibility of an error in the DME decision. However, such certificates are considered only if they contain a note by a Medical Officer from Government District Hospital or above, along with registration information from MCI/State Medical Council, indicating awareness of the candidate’s prior rejection by the CAPF Medical Board.
